About the Coaches: Steve Bialorucki-Head Coach
Steve has been the head coach of Old Dominion Aquatic Club since July of 1994. He has been involved with competitive swimming for over thirty years as a swimmer and coach. Previous to ODAC, he was the head coach of East Side Swimming in Pensacola, Florida, and the Cincinnati Pepsi Marlins in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently the only coach in the area certified at the highest level attainable (Level 5) by the American Swim Coaches Association. He has also taken his teaching skills to Colorado Springs as a frequent guest of USA Swimming as a staff member of swim camps at the United States Olympic Training Center. Steve continues to further his knowledge and understanding of the sport of swimming by working with swimmers at both ends of the swimming spectrum – from beginners, as the program director of the Swim America Lesson Program, to elite-level swimmers, as the National Team coach. He believes that the Old Dominion Aquatic Club offers the best for any young person interested in furthering their skill and enjoyment within swimming.
